Marshal is hands down the best driving instructor in the UK! His diligence, clear instructions, endless patience, and just the right touch of firmness when needed got me through my exam today. He's like a magician, making instructions second nature and explaining the 'whys' behind every move. For example he breaks down difficult topics like lane discipline in roundabouts and learning how to handle other drivers cutting in to your lane. He really teaches great defensive driving techniques on repeat so you can be comfortable in your drive. Additionally Marshal is very insistent in perfecting the fundamentals of driving, such clutch control and practises them hundreds of times so that you can drive effortlessly and confidently. I can't recommend him highly enough – he's the real deal. As a nervous driver, I had gone through at least 4 driving instructors before landing with Marshal. I found Marshal through his helpful Youtube channel, MarshalsTips where I familiarised myself with common test routes in Wansted before I even began lessons. These videoes were helpful aides before and after lessons for me to understand road markings and road conditions of the area. We used a sat nav, had plenty of mock tests and did lots of independent driving to get me out of bad habits and instil new habits which got me through my practical. I would recommend taking batch lessons with Marshal, where you take 3 to 4 lessons in the first few weeks to get in to a rhythm of driving and then pace your lessons accordingly closer to your test. Had a nice experience with Marshal, took a mock test and passed on my exam. He helped me with safe wheel steering and how to drive safely and look ahead of the road to have more time to make right decisions. I asked him if you have any good instructors in the chingford area . He then gave me Marshals number. Just having a few lessons from him helped me boost my confidence and I felt my observations improved and manoeuvres improved. We had banter as I’m a Manchester Utd fan and he’s a Liverpool FC fan. Good teacher cares about his pupils and you can feel it. His videos also helped me practice and learn when I was at home . His YouTube channel Marshals Tips is really helpful . It was my second attempt to do my ADI Part 2 Driving test. I’ve been driving for approximately 20 years Abroad and here . Then I came to Marshal Malik to see if he could help me in the right direction to pass. It was a real eye opener seeing how different the Adi Part 2 driving test is and how much you have to show a high level of competence of driving. Each lesson I had with Marshal improved me day by day. He pin pointed my mistakes and helped me get out of the bad driving habits . His 29 years of teaching and experience of driving guided me in a very professional manner . On the day of the driving test he made sure that he gave me little prompts to remember and help my focus for my test and I passed . Now onto the third part of the Adi to fully qualify in becoming a driving instructor. I wanted to say a massive thanks for getting me through my Adi part 2. If you’re worried about whether ur test standard or not, and worried whether you’ll be able to find a good instructor then look no further than Marshal! He is such a fantastic instructor and a great personality to have in the car, always made me feel welcome and relaxed while also providing top tier teaching and instructions. If you are struggling, I wouldn’t look any further than Marshal he will get you to pass your test in no time. For the beginning , the first few lessons were with Haider , Marshal’s son , and he provided some fantastic teaching all the while being a lovely person to have in the car as well. These first few lessons with Haider were then continued by Marshal himself and I have to say from the first lesson to last , with both Haider and Marshal , clear instructions along with tips and guidelines to help me drive so much smoother we’re advised constantly and helped me so much. I would recommend them both to any other people trying to get to a high driving standard in the most comfortable way possible. Every lesson we would iron out any faults or bad habits I was doing and we would constantly do manoeuvres to make sure they were almost perfect . As soon as I had a test booked the one thing on Marshal’s mind was to get me to pass. He was willing to do lessons everyday til we were BOTH comfortable with my driving standard and I’m really grateful to have had such a wonderful instructor. Also definitely check out Marshal’s YouTube vids too , they were a great help and they provided a bunch of information I could learn from outside of lesson hours which helped me a lot . They really help get u ready to drive the smoothest you can. I have watched Marshal’s videos on YouTube and decided to text him with just a few days before my test and I am glad that I did. He is very calm, patient and professional. As a driving instructor amazing. Knows his stuff you can tell he’s very experienced and knows what he’s doing. Has a trick or like a code for all manoeuvres. Will break everything down for you so you can understand. Not only will you pass your test you will be confident to drive also. As a person great humour very easy going and makes your feel comfortable. Also when he needs you to be fully focused and not make silly mistakes he’ll let you know which is good.
